User experiences disconnect from DaaS desktop

Solution

There are a few areas where user idle and broker session timers are controlled.

  1. Via GPO for the VDI's View Agent Direct Connect Plugin
  2. For each tenant globally
  3. For each desktop pool

User is disconnected after 10hrs

VMware View Direct-Connect Plugin GPO:

Session Timeout must be set to NINE 9's (999999999)

Tenant Enterprise Center Global Settings

In each Tenant Enterprise Center, Configuration > General


 

Per Pool for Each Tenant

In each Tenant Enterprise Center, Pool Management > Browse Pools.

Click Edit for the pool

On the left, click Pool Configuration
