The Evolved Office HPBX offers options for wireless handsets. The IP option is a DECT solution. This solution means that a wireless voice server connects to the Evolve IP platform and offers a wireless signal to the handset(s) in range of the wireless device. The configuration is setup as a one to many scenario: one server can have multiple handsets registered to it. The limiting factor in this configuration is concurrent calls on the wireless device. The DECT solution segments the wireless voice traffic off the IP wireless data network and supports VLANs.
**Evolve IP will only stock IP-DECT 400 servers and Butterfly handsets along with power and base stations for the handsets. All other handset models below will be ordered on demand with a 6-week lead time.
NOTE- As of January 2018, Yealink can also be offered to customers as a viable option for wireless solutions. for more information on the W60B model, visit the Yealink page here
