The user is asking how to user their DaaS across multiple monitors.

Check DaaS Settings

Ask the user for their desktop name.

If they don't know their desktop name, have them locate in the horizon client by moving their mouse cursor to the top of their monitor, and getting the name from the right on the toolbar that appears.

Navigate to their desktop in the vCenter the customer is located in by viewing the list of customer DaaS URLs and clicking on their vCenter name.

Credentials for the portal are your AD.

eip\username          or          username@eip.local

ad password

Once you are in the vCenter, use the search bar in the upper right hand corner to search for their desktop, and click on the hyperlink to navigate to that VM.

Note: If this is your first time in the vCenter, click Help → Hide all Getting started pages

Once you are at the Summary tab of the VM, click on actions and edit settings.

Ask the customer how many monitors they are trying to use.

Expand the Video Card dropdown, and ensure that the number of displays is set to the number of displays the customer is trying to use.

If it does match, skip the next step.

If the Number of Displays Does NOT Match the Customers

Hit the Cancel button on the Edit Settings Screen, and ask the customer to shut down their desktop.

After the customer tells you they have powered it off wait about two minutes and hit the Refresh button in the top right of vSphere.

Select edit settings on the machine again.

You should now be able to change the number of displayed to the amount requested by the customer by expanding video card, selecting the number of displays, and then pressing ok.

Hit edit settings one more time, and select Power On.

Note: Wait about two minutes to allow to desktop to initialize.

Proceed to the next step.

Number of Displays Matches

Now that the number of monitors on the VM matches, have the user open up Horizon Client.

Tell them to enter their credentials, but dont log into their desktop.

Right click on the desktop, and hit settings.

Ensure Display: All monitors is selected

Tell the customer to turn the corresponding number of grey boxes green by left clicking on them.

The amount of green boxes should match how many monitors they are using.

Press OK

Have them log in and test. If they still cannot use multiple monitors, escalate the ticket.
