Create Customer Web Admin in Hosted Exchange Portal
- Login to the Hosted Exchange Portal
- https://portal.evolvedmail.net/
- UN/PW- https://sserver.paragrid.net/SecretView.aspx?edit=true&secretid=998
- Expand Panel Users -> Manage Users and select Add User
- Enter a Login name and Password. Click Next
- Fill out the required information. Click Next
- Set the Credit Limit to 1000. Click Next
- Check the box to Enable Invoicing. Click Add Webadmin
Adjust Default Send/Receive Size
- Navigate to Hosting Plans -> Manage Plans and select Resource Properties
- Select your Customer and click Next
- Check the Boxes to make inbound & outbound message sizes unlimited
Create Hosted Organization
- Under Panel Users -> Manage Users, click My Users
- Left click the Webadmin you just created and selectAuto Login
- Navigate to Hosting Services -> Manage Organizations and select Add Hosted Organization
- Enter the Organization Name and click Add Organization
Purchase Additional Mailbox Plans
- Navigate to Hosting Plans -> Manage Plans and select Purchase a Plan
- Select Add Mailbox 25GB then select Purchase Plan
- Enter the Quantity of Mailboxes Needed (Note: The Domain plan comes with 1 mailbox already, Purchase the total mailboxes needed for the project minus 1) and then select Purchase Now.
Add Mail Domain
- Navigate to Hosting Services -> Manage Exchange and select Add Mail Domain
- Enter the domain, select your organization and then select Add Mail Domain
3. Notify Nstrbic@evolveip.net of the approximate size of the mailboxes you intend to migrate into HEX and he will inform you which store you need to select.
4. Click next and uncheck POP and set the mailbox size to 25000 then click Add Domain.
5. Click Mailboxes and left click the mailbox you created and select Delete.
Creating Customer Mailboxes
- Navigate to Hosting Services -> Manage Exchange and select Exchange Organizations
- Select Mailboxes
- Select Add Bulk Mailboxes
- Select Browse to browse for a CSV file that contains your mailboxes that will be created. Once selected, click Check Feasibility
Your CSV file should be formatted according to the following screenshot: - Resolve any mailboxes that state false. Check Active Sync Checkbox. Uncheck POP Protocol, and select Create Mailboxes
You may now continue on to setting up Mimecast for the Customer
