Most Customer are set up for ADSync. Most of the time, all they need to do is add the user's Email address to their AD Account
Step-by-step guide
RDP to HE-Util01(192.203.103.148) server
Open PW Sync Server Configuration and open Account Management
In new window select new user
Fill out UserID, Password, and Display Name (This will create a new user in AD on HE-UTIL01). Make sure the OU for Tenant (Sub OU) is checked and selected.
Please generate and save the PW in Secret Server.

Right click on new User and chose Client Capture Agent Configuration
Check Control Client Configuration, Enter Password and domain name hosted on HE.
Check all boxes as showing on next image
Right click on Default and chose Export Client Command
Copy text and past in to the text file what we will send to customer.
Setup on Client Side
- All users in Local AD should have email address filled out using their address that will be Hoste
- Download AD Password Sync Client 32/64 from https://portal.evolvedmail.net and install on all domain controllers.(You will need to unhide the download link for the customer)
- After installation, the server needs to be rebooted.
- Open “PwSync Client Configuration” and chose Import Target Configuration under Tool Menu
- In new window past text that was send to customer
- Select Users OU
- Click Select, Apply.
- To see all matched Users, select tools, then select "Manage Users on target AD".
- Press Start button and it will list all Mapped users.
- It will map user by email address that was entered in local domain AD users
- This button should state Active. If inactive, press it and it will change to Active

- To Test configuration, Open “Server Receiving Test” on HE-UTIL01 server. Have client reset password for one user. If everything is correct you should see a log here
