Please order a new DID for user/auto attendant/call center.
Step-by-step guide
- If the customer is calling in, while on the phone with the customer, ask:
- Do you want to use a number in your reserve pool?
- Do you have an area code preference?
- Is the area code outside of their location? Please see section below
- If the customer emails in, confirm that you have the location where they want the new DID or any area code preferences
- Make the ticket in ICD/Maximo
- Make a log note for ServDel

- After entering in the log note for Service Delivery, delegate this ticket to the Service Delivery team
- Click on the Route Workflow button towards the top of the page
- A window will open - select Delegate Incident then select SVCDEL - then select OK on the bottom to delegate this ticket to Service Delivery to obtain a DID
Customer requests DID with area code not in Customer's area
- If a customer requests a DID that is not within their area, then Service Delivery will need an address to tie to that DID.
- This is often requested for customers expanding into new locations
- Or customers with remote users
- Enter a log note into the ticket in ICD for Service Delivery but also include an address (ask the customer for the address)
