When a user calls in to have their phone set up for home use, there are a few things that need to be done:

  1. Their phone needs to be set up for configuration
  2. Their IP address needs to be Whitelisted in our TFTP server
  3. In some cases, network changes need to be made



Ask the user for the model phone that they are using. You will use the following guides to set up their phones accordingly:

Follow this guide to Whitelist an IP address




You can find additional network changes that might need to be made here. However, it is an informational piece that you provide the user for them to do on their own.

We DO NOT assist in setting up a user's modem/router as it is a liability.
