This assumes you have vSphere running on your PC.

  1. Click VCENTER.hq.webcoretech.com
  2. Click the Datacenters tab
  3. Double-click the Austin data center
  4. Click 172.29.1.24
  5. Click the Summary tab
  6. Under the Storage pane, double-click nexenta-backup-md1000-a-b-A
  7. Right-click on nexenta-backup-md1000-a-b-A, and select Browse Datastore
  8. In the Datastore Browser, double-click the ISOs directory
  9. Click the Upload icon near the top of the window, and select Upload File
  10. Browse Explorer to find the ISO you want and click the Open button
  11. Click Yes at the Upload/Download Operation Warning screen, and wait for the upload to finish
  12. Right-click the VM that you want to boot and click Edit Settings
  13. Now in the Virtual Machine Properties
    1. Under the Hardware tab, click CD/DVD drive 1
      1. Device Status: tick Connected and Connect at power on
      2. Device Type/Datastore ISO File/Browse
        1. In Browse Datastores windows, click the .ISO that you want to boot and click Open
    2. Under the Options tab/Advanced/Boot Options
      1. Under Force BIOS Setup
        1. Tick "The next time the virtual machine boots, force entry into the BIOS setup screen"
        2. Click OK
  14. Right-click the VM, then Power/Restart Guest

At this point the VM should boot to BIOS, and you can adjust the boot order to make the CD/DVD drive first, and then boot to your ISO.
