Step-by-step guide

  1. If no previous installation of Avamar exists on the machine you are installing to, go to step 2. If you have a previous version of the Admin Console, browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\ and delete the "avs" folder.

  2. Avamar 7.4 requires Java v8u112 minimum, if you receive an error regarding Java version, please update to at least 8u112. (other versions of Java may work, however they have not been tested at this time).

  4. Close browsers and Avamar, run the Java Installer
